How my journey began
In the serene countryside town of Exeter, Rhode Island, Samantha Sanford resides alongside her husband, Adam, and their blended family: one-year-old daughter, Ava, Adam's six-year-old son, Austin, and Samantha's seven-year-old daughter, Lella.
From a young age, Samantha's fascination with organization and systematization has been a defining trait. She finds solace in the discoveries made while tidying up, a sentiment she often shares with her children.
For over a decade, Samantha has been a dedicated UX Unicorn, fully immersed in the intricate realm of user experience. She views UX as a profoundly spiritual profession, driven by empathy and awareness. However, as the field evolved into a powerful business asset, Samantha found herself questioning its direction.
In 2017, Samantha's journey into Information Architecture began, revealing the critical distinction between content and mere information. But it wasn't until her Saturn Return in 2019 that she embarked on a profound spiritual awakening. Faced with challenges and uncertainties, Samantha took leaps of faith to fulfill her soul's purpose, navigating through the complexities of self-discovery.
Amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Samantha made the courageous decision to depart from her career as a User Experience Designer. Feeling a misalignment with the ideas she helped birth, she sought a deeper connection with her true calling.
Embracing her role as a stay-at-home mom, Samantha delved into domestic life, testing and refining systems with the same passion she devoted to her career. Her newfound closeness to nature led her to explore gardening, farming, and spirituality.
Driven by her desire to empower others, Samantha is dedicated to helping individuals birth their ideas and bring them to life. She aspires to guide energy healers in overcoming skepticism and attracting clients in need. Viewing technology as a spiritual and quantum tool, Samantha has embarked on a new journey as a coach, sharing the secrets of the UX world for positive change. Collaborating with spiritual practitioners, she seeks to raise the vibration of the planet through her work.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Samantha's current passions include delving into the complexities of Human Design, finding clarity and guidance in its intricate system. Despite controversies, Samantha confesses her fondness for artificial intelligence (AI), intrigued by its impact on information architecture and its potential for responsible utilization in the digital age.
